WHY IS THE SOFTWARE FREE?
Rise Tax Pro made a substantial investment in software about 5 years ago and has unlimited software licenses. We aim to be a valuable and ethical resource for tax preparers by providing access to affordable, low-cost tax software. This allows you to reduce your startup budget and allocate funds to other areas of your business.
WHAT ARE THE SOFTWARE FEES?
As you know, there are always fees associated with software, even when you purchase software directly.
We aim to keep our fees competitively lower than those of other third-party software providers.

At Rise Tax Pro, we do uphold truth in advertising. We do not charge any additional fees beyond what is outlined here and, in our terms, and conditions. As the owner of your tax software license, you are able to add additional fees to your software. As an ERO, you have the option to add service bureau fees if you decide.

DO YOU OFFER TRAINING?
Tax training is available through our resource center inside our tax pro portal. While we offer live training sessions outside of our weekly coaching calls, there may be an additional fee for these sessions. However, there is no fee for our live software coaching calls. We aim to provide as much value to our software users as possible and keep our fees as low as possible so that you can use these funds toward marketing your tax business. However, there are times when you can expect to invest in your business and education to receive specialized knowledge and/or services.
WHAT ARE COACHING CALLS?
We offer a comprehensive range of coaching calls scheduled on specific days of the week at designated times. These weekly calls cover dedicated coaching, software training, tax preparation support, marketing strategy & support and business operations, providing real-time support to ensure you get the help you need when you need it. Additionally, we offer robust support services to ensure you have all the resources necessary for success.
WHAT WILL MY BUSINESS COACH ASSIST ME WITH?
Your business coach will help you execute the Rise Tax Pro Framework in your tax business for success. You will work one-on-one with your coach, who will offer support and guidance tailored to your business needs.
DOES RISE TAX PRO REQUIRE YOU TO SIGN A CONTRACT?
We do not require our users to sign any long-term contracts. However, we do ask that you acknowledge receipt of our terms and conditions, which requires a signature. There is no time frame or return volume requirements associated with the terms and conditions. Our focus is on providing exceptional service so that clients are inclined to use our service year after year.
DO YOU OFFER TECHNICAL SUPPORT?
Yes, we offer technical support to our clients. Our fully staffed technical support team is ready to assist you whenever you need technical assistance.
DO YOU OFFER SUPPORT OTHER THAN TECHNICAL SUPPORT?
Yes, our client services team consists of skilled tax professionals prepared to help you. Additionally, you have access to your business coach for any further assistance.
DO I NEED AN EFIN TO USE THE SOFTWARE?
An EFIN is not required; you only need an active PTIN to utilize the software platform. However, if you are able to obtain an EFIN, we encourage you to do so by visiting IRS.gov. If you need assistance with the EFIN process, we offer EFIN workshops that you can take advantage of as a software user.
